One of the most popular and revered voices in Portuguese rock, David Fonseca rose to fame as the singer/guitarist for the band Silence 4. David’s solo career started in 2003 with “Sing Me Something New”. David sang and played nearly all the instruments, exploring a totally new environment of sounds on his own. Besides penning most of his works, he is also responsible for the graphic design on his album covers and the art direction on his videoclips. Between 2004 and 2006, he was also part of the Humanos tribute project. “Our Hearts Will Beat As One”, his second solo album, was released in the fall of 2005 . In October, 2007 was released his third original album, “Dreams in Colour”. “Between Waves” was out on the 2nd November 2009, and the last album “Futuro eu”, the first one only in Portuguese, was released in October 2015. “BOWIE 70” (2017) is the name of the project that David Fonseca conceived in honor of David Bowie with the collaboration of the most important Portuguese artists: Afonso Rodrigues (Sean Riley), Ana Moura, Aurea, António Zambujo, Camané, Catarina Salinas (Best Youth), Márcia, Marta Ren, Manuela Azevedo (Clã), Rita Redshoes, Rui Reininho (GNR) and David Fonseca
