Carminho is a Portuguese fado and popular music singer, daughter of fado singer Teresa Siqueira. She began singing in public at the age of 12. With a heartfelt voice, Carminho delves into folk, pop, rock, and jazz, while drawing inspiration from the fado stars of previous generations. She made her recording debut in “Saudades do Fado: Tertúlia de Fado Tradicional”, a collaborative album produced by guitarist Luis Penedo in 2003, on which she is featured as a vocalist. Her debut album “Fado” was edited in 2009, followed by “Alma” (2012), “Canto” (2014) and “Carminho canta Jobim” (2016).
